This policy explains what Reels Ideas ("the app", "we") collects, why, and your choices. Reels Ideas is operated by KEETCODE LTD (company no. What we collect
Account: your email address, display name, and which method you signed in with (email, Apple or Google). Email-password accounts store only a salted hash of your password, never the password itself.
Profile & preferences: the niche you pick, your selected sources, and your short onboarding answers (audience, challenge, goal), plus your subscription status.
Saved content: ideas you save into collections (kept on your device, with your niche/source choices synced to your account).
Usage analytics: in-app events (e.g. screens opened, ideas viewed/saved, paywall shown, subscription started) and an app-open signal, tied to a per-user identifier and your email, used to understand and improve the product.
Subscriptions: purchases are handled by Apple. We receive your subscription status, not your card or payment details.
Support: if you contact us, the message and your email so we can reply.
How we use it
To provide the core service — serve weekly ideas and Trends for your niche, keep you signed in, and manage your subscription.
To understand product usage and improve features and conversion (analytics).
To respond to support requests and important service notices.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Legal bases (GDPR)
We process account and profile data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), analytics under our legitimate interest in improving the product, and support data with your consent / our legitimate interest in helping you.
Who we share it with (processors)
We use a small set of service providers that process data on our behalf:
Apple and Google — sign-in; Apple — subscription billing.
PostHog (EU region) — product analytics.
Hosting (Render, Neon Postgres) — running the backend and storing your account.
EnsembleData and Anthropic — used to generate ideas and Trends from public sources; these do not receive your personal data.
Where data is stored
Account data is stored on our hosting providers; analytics are stored in the EU. By using the app you understand your data may be processed in these locations.
Retention
We keep account and profile data while your account exists. Delete your account (below) and we remove your account record, including your email, from our database.
Your rights
Delete your account: in the app, Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and email from our database and ends your session.

You may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
Note: aggregated analytics retained for product analysis may persist after account deletion in a form linked to an identifier; contact us to request its removal.
Children
Reels Ideas is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Security
We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls). No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll change the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
